About Us

EDNP, with members from private corporations, government agencies, local government units, non-government organizations, academic institutions, religious groups, and environmental advocates, work for the healing, the restoration and the preservation of the integrity of creation through meaningful and effective environmental programs and projects.  Our main annual event is the Earth Day celebration every April 22

The Network is supported by a non-stock, non-profit network organization that serve as its secretariat under the same name, Earth Day Network Philippines, Inc. (EDNPI).

Our vision is a healed Philippine environment under the stewardship of all sectors of society working collectively and individually as Earth citizens.

Our Mission for the Planet

EDNP and its Secretariat work:

1. to promote environmental citizenship (raise Filipino’s consciousness on the need to preserve the environment) and year-round progressive action (promote and support different projects for the environment);
2. to build a broad-based citizen support for sound, workable and effective environmental and sustainable development policies for all (build a network of stakeholders involving Government, Church and other religious groups, Business and Non-Governmental Organization); and,
3. to coordinate the annual Earth Day celebration for the Philippines held by the member organizations, stakeholders and partner government agencies.
